Julia Gimbernat Mayol is the Head of Product for DeepChain™ at InstaDeep, where she leads the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for the life sciences.

Her expertise centers on transforming research into impactful products and leveraging AI to drive innovation in genomics and healthcare.

Prior to joining InstaDeep, Julia conducted research at Stanford University, specializing in AI techniques for genetic data analysis, which she later applied in industry during her time at Illumina, a global leader in sequencing technologies. She holds a Master’s degree from MIT, where she earned a Research Award in Operations Research for translating research into industry applications, and cross-trained in business studies at Harvard Business School.
